Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche has started testing it's 2014, 918 Spyder earlier this month and has released first photos of the prototype also confirming some of the supercar's specs.

Sporting a 4.6-liter V8 with 770 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, this is not only a powerhouse but very efficient estimated 78 mpg fuel economy rating. Porsche claims the new spyder to top speed of 202 mph and 0-60 under 3.0 seconds.Two independent electric motors matched with the V8 engine will work in parallel, with one electric motor spinning the rear axle only, together or independently. The second electric motor will power the front axle exclusively.

When released for sale next year, expect a whooping $845,000 price tag. I guess that means you won't be seeing too many of these on your local avenues lol.
